- Movie scenarios - The text descriptions you provide are sent to AI services for processing into shot breakdowns
- Image generation prompts - Text prompts sent to AI services to generate images
- Video generation prompts - Text prompts sent to AI services to generate videos
- Reference images - Optional images you upload for style consistency, sent to AI services
- Generated content - Images and videos created by AI are temporarily stored on our servers
Your content data is processed by third-party AI services as described in Section 4.3. Prompts and generated content may be stored on our servers for the duration of your session and for a limited period afterward to enable delivery and troubleshooting.
2.4 YouTube Integration Data
If you choose to connect your YouTube account:
- OAuth tokens - Access and refresh tokens stored securely on your device
- Channel information - Your YouTube channel ID, name, and thumbnail
- Uploaded videos - Videos you choose to upload are sent directly to YouTube
YouTube integration is optional. You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from the app settings.
2.5 Local Storage
The following data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers:
- Your projects and shot configurations
- Generated video files (after download from server)
- App preferences and settings
- Recent projects list
- YouTube OAuth tokens (stored in secure device keychain)

- Google Gemini - Your image prompts and optional reference images are sent to Google's Gemini API for image generation. See Google Privacy Policy
- Google Veo - Your video prompts and generated images are sent to Google's Veo API for video generation. See Google Privacy Policy
These AI services may process your content according to their terms of service. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies for details on how they handle data.
4.4 YouTube Integration
You can revoke MakeAMovie AI's access to your YouTube account at any time via Google Security Settings.
4.5 Payment Processing
- App Store (Apple) - iOS and macOS purchases are processed by Apple. We receive purchase receipts for validation but do not collect your payment card information. See Apple's Privacy Policy

- HMAC-SHA256 request signing to prevent tampering and replay attacks
- Secure authentication through Apple and Google identity providers

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
